Child and Adolescent Mental Health & Substance Abuse State Infrastructure Grants (CA-SIG)

Puyallup Tribe, Pierce County, Washington

Child and Adolescent SIG

The funding for the five-year SAMHSA’s Child and Adolescent SIG project is to develop the infrastructure for full implementation of a wraparound service delivery model, which is culturally appropriate and cost effective for American Indian/Alaska Nation (AI/AN) youth that are struggling with substance abuse and mental health problems, such as serious emotional disturbances, in the Pierce County service delivery area.  The PTHA will use the grant funds to build the infrastructure to promote, support, and sustain the mental health and substance abuse treatment intervention capabilities for the target population.
